According to Putin, this vaccine was tested on humans for 2 months. According to Russia, the vaccine has taken care of all safety standards. It has also been approved by the Russian Health Department. This vaccine has been developed by the Russian Defense Department along with the Gamalaya Institute. However, many scientists in the world have doubted the safety of this vaccine, which Russia has denied.

Russia has already announced its first vaccine, even before the Phase III trial. Russia has said that its final trial is going to start in a few days. It is being said that in Russia, the third trial of this vaccine is going to start on a large scale. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, the experimental production of this vaccine is going to start in Russia in September. This report claimed that Russia has received requests for more than one billion doses of this vaccine from 20 countries around the world. Russia is preparing to make 500 million doses every year. According to the Russian media, before January 2021, this vaccine is going to be made available to other countries.
