In view of the third wave of corona infection, preparations are beginning at each level. The Union Ministry of AYUSH has issued special guidelines for children. It lays more emphasis on increasing immunity in children in time. Talking exclusively to a media portal, Dr. S. Rajagopal, paediatrician at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, said that though corona is less common in children, a special kit has been designed to increase the immunity of children.

Use of AYUSH 64:-
Dr. S. Rajagopal informed that as per the guidelines, children have been classified according to age, asking children below 10 to 15, 5 to 10 and five years to give doses of any medicine according to age. If fever occurs, ayush 64 has been asked to be used.

Ayurveda Behavior Protocol:-
Dr. Rajagopal said that like adults, children have also been asked to adopt Ayurveda behaviour protocol. Under this, parents of children have been asked to make special use of Ayurvedic medicines. At the same time, suggestions have been made to gargle the children with lukewarm water.

Keep special attention on children:-
Dr. Rajagopal said that the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH also asked to take into account the behaviour of children. Fever is not the only basis among children. Doctors have been asked to seek suggestions even if the activity of children is suddenly decreasing slightly.

Use of molecular oil:-
These guidelines make it mandatory to use molecular oil (mustard oil). The claim is that this oil acts like a corona shell. Prevents infection of the virus from entering the nasal tract. Children have been asked to use this oil every day.

Children should not be alone:-
Patients are normally sent to isolation in case of corona infection. In such cases, if children are isolate, they have a very adverse mental effect. Keeping this in mind, special care has been asked to be taken for the children. Separate guidelines have been issued to the parents for the same.
