According to a report, Dheeraj is the highest-paid contestant this season, charging between 4 to 5 crore rupees to join the show. Dheeraj has gained significant recognition through his roles in TV serials like "Sasural Simar Ka" and "Kundali Bhagya." He also appeared in the TV show "Sherdil Shergil" in 2022. He married Vinny Arora in 2016 and they have a two-year-old son. Currently, Dheeraj is seen in a lead role in the Zee TV show "Rab Se Hai Dua," where he replaced Karanveer Sharma, and stars opposite Yesha Rughani.

There have been ongoing rumors about the contestants for Bigg Boss 18. Names such as Alys Kaushik, Daljit Kaur, Sameera Reddy, Maxtern, and Shoaib Ibrahim have emerged so far. However, Shoaib recently denied the news of his participation in Salman Khan's show. Earlier, it was reported that Hardik Pandya's ex-wife Natasha Stankovic might be part of the show, but it is now confirmed that Natasha has declined to participate. According to Bigg Boss news on X (formerly Twitter), Natasha will not be joining the show. Natasha reportedly made this decision due to her concern for her son, Augustya, as she does not want him to be alone. There has been no official statement from either the makers or Natasha regarding this matter.
