According to reports, actor Anand Alkunte would take over the role of Vilas Patil from Kiran Mane. Although no official information has been received from the production company or the station, speculation regarding Anand Alankute's appearance is widespread. Anand has previously played a cop in the TV show 'Rudram.' He has also appeared in a number of Marathi films.
