Gorakhpur: Dr Pradeep Kumar Rao will be given the award of Guru Gorakshnath Shikhar on behalf of Hindustani Academy of Uttar Pradesh. This award of five lakh rupees is the result of his 22 years of literary work. Dr Rao, principal of Maharana Pratap Postgraduate College, Jungle Dhusad, says that he has worked for a long time on Guru Gorakhnath and Nath sect.

He has published 12 of his books. He has edited nine books. He believes that due to his award, the value of Hindi literature has increased. This college is a dream project of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Dr Pradeev Rao, a native of village Nagwa Khas in Deoria city, is considered a penetrator of history and culture. In his statement, Dr Rao said that this award will increase public awareness about research on Nathpanth and Guru Gorakhnath.

He said that Guru Gorakhnath and Nathpanth courses should be part of history, Sanskrit, Hindi and philosophy. People have done the research on it. I started working on this subject in the year 2005. Ancient Indian currencies, ancient Indian script, Kshatriya dynasty, ancient Indian religious philosophy, the chief ruler of ancient India, etc., are very helpful for the researchers. Dr Pradeep Rao has been the Gold Medalist of Gorakhpur University. He has done research on the state employee subject in the ancient country. Dr Rao is very happy about this achievement.
