The artists, who had been without work for 2 years, hoped that things might be fine now, but seeing the increasing cases of the corona, their hopes seem to be fading away. Fearing the same hardship, an actor has attempted suicide. Actor Teerthanand, who has been active in the industry for 15 years, is also called the lookalike of Nana Patekar. Tirthanand had attempted suicide by consuming poison on the evening of 27 December.

However, as soon as the neighbours came to know about it, they rushed him to the hospital and saved his life. After staying in the hospital for four days, Tirthananda has returned home and his condition is improving. In an interview, Tirthananda said, "Yes, I consumed poison and I was serious. Along with financial problems, family members have also left me. I stayed in the hospital but my mother and brother didn't even come to see me. We live in the same complex and I have been in the same complex for fifteen years but my family doesn't even talk to me.''

He further said, "Even my treatment, they have not invested a penny. I am in debt. I am living alone at home even after coming from the hospital. What could be worse for someone than that? The mother has not even asked for food to date. The one to whom she got married was a dancer. We also have a daughter, but my wife has remarried. My daughter is also married. There is no contact with them. Well, I've said sorry to the police and now I want to get work and I'll follow my passion.''
