The length of the entire barrier is two kilometers and the barrier is built on the 355-km-long Xiangmen-Zhanjiang high-speed railway track. In fact, the goal of preparing this barrier is to save 30,000 birds and the distance from the rail noise barrier to the wetland is up to 800 metres. There is a small island where a huge banyan tree is present, where hundreds of birds' nests will be available to you.

It reportedly took three years to prepare the barrier and cost Rs 192 crore. The high-speed rail noise barrier has 42260 noise absorbers and is designed to last for a long time. According to technical experts, the barrier is 100 years old and is not going to be affected by the cyclone.
