Paris - The French government has announced plans to ban sex between relatives for the first time since 1791. According to the information, incest is still valid in France, but the condition is that no one below the age of 18 years is involved. But now a plan is being drawn up to completely ban it. French Minister for Child Protection Adrian Taquethas said this.

Talking to the media, Taquet said, 'No matter what the age, you cannot have physical relations with your father, your son or your daughter. This question is not only of age, it is also not a question of consent of adults (Adults). We are fighting against incest. The signs should be clear. According to the report, under the new law, cousins will still be allowed to marry, but it is yet to be confirmed whether the ban will be extended to step-families.

Laurent Boat, chairman of child protection charity Les Papilongons, has welcomed Mr. Taquet's announcement. "Incest is socially prohibited, but not legally prohibited, while the two must be together," he told the media. In 1791, incest, blasphemy and sodomi were removed from the french penal code from the category of crime. He believed that if there was no victim, it was not a crime.
