On Friday, a major train accident took place in Balasore, Odisha. There was a collision between the Coromandel Express, Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast and the goods train, due to which many coaches of both the trains derailed. The accident was so severe that so far 275 people have lost their lives while more than a thousand people have been injured. This terrible train accident has shaken the whole country. At the same time, after the accident,  many people have extended their hands for help in their own way. Meanwhile, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has also made a big announcement to help the victims.

Virender Sehwag has made a big announcement expressing grief over the accident on Sunday. Sehwag said in a tweet that in this hour of grief, he is going to provide free education to the children of those who lost their lives in the train accident. He wrote in the tweet, "This picture is going to haunt us for a long time. The least I can do in this hour of grief is to take care of the education of the children of those who lost their lives in this tragic accident. I offer free education to such children at the boarding facility of Sehwag International School."

 

Sehwag saluted everyone from the rescuers to the medical staff for their assistance during the accident, who helped in evacuating the people trapped in the train, taking them to the hospital and also donated blood when needed. "Applause to all the brave men and women who were at the forefront of the rescue operation. Medical team and volunteers who are voluntarily donating blood. We are in this together."
