In fact, mild tremors were felt in the Koriya district of Chhattisgarh on Monday. Officials at the Meteorological Centre have reported this. Officials said that at 8:10 am on Monday, mild tremors were felt near Baikunthpur, 79 km from Ambikapur. He said the epicentre of the quake was 16 kilometres northwest of Baikunthpur. Let us know that the intensity of the earthquake was estimated at 4.3 on the Richter scale.

While officials say that there is a possibility of partial damage from this category of the earthquake, no damage has been reported from the area so far.
