Bangalore: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has targeted PM Narendra Modi while campaigning for the Karnataka Assembly elections. In fact, the Congress was accused of abusing itself 91 times on behalf of PM Modi. Regarding this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the election is being held in Karnataka, but PM Modi is only talking about himself. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said this while addressing an election rally at Turuvekere in Tumkur district. Rahul said, 'You had come to Karnataka for election campaign, but did not talk about Karnataka itself. Instead, keep talking only about yourself.'
Rahul further said, 'This election is not about you. It is happening for Karnataka and its people. He said that this election is not being held on any one person. Narendra Modi is not the issue of this election. They should understand this.' The Congress leader said, 'You said that the Congress has abused you 91 times. But, you did not talk about Karnataka.' During this, Rahul Gandhi also raised the issue of corruption in Karnataka. Rahul said, 'What did you do about the 40 percent commission issued in Karnataka for the last three years?'
As per the report, Rahul Gandhi said that PM Modi never took the name of Chief Minister Bommai or even BS Yeddyurappa in his speeches. In every speech he kept talking about himself.
