The two teams will lock horns in the summit clash in Hyderabad on Sunday eyeing a record fourth IPL trophy.
Skipper Dhoni has also pointed out at the fielding limitations of his men due to their age but Srikkanth believes the defending champions should be wary of their fielding in Hyderabad on Sunday. In his in his column for Times of India, the former Indian captain wrote that the factor that could go in Chennai’s favour is the fact that they are used to this stage more than any other team. They know it takes one special effort to swing things their way. They have to be wary of their fielding though. He further said, “This is one area where they have been found wanting and they cannot afford to be lax on the big day.”
Dhoni led CSK were the first team to qualify for the playoffs and looked almost unbeatable at one stage in the tournament. Dhoni's men had a flying start to the season winning seven of their first eight games before slumping in the latter half of the tournament. They have managed just two wins in their last five games and are yet to beat Mumbai this season.
