Shabbir Ahluwalia, famous among the favourite stars of the television world, has been the subject of discussion these days. According to the latest reports, Shabbir Ahluwalia is quitting the show after playing the role of Abhishek Mehra for almost 7-8 years in the popular television serial Kumkum Bhagya. Shabbir is planning to move forward in his career and life. There are reports that Shabbir and the makers of the show have taken this decision with mutual approval. 

According to information received from sources, both Shabbir and Ekta Kapoor (producer of the show) are friends and will continue to be so. This decision has gone without interruption. However, the network has not officially shared information about Shabbir's quitting the show. Shabbir has also remained silent on the whole incident so far.

The report also said that Shabbir is in discussions for a new show on another channel. According to reports, Shabbir has received a big offer in the new television serial to be produced by Yash Patnaik and he can be seen in the show. The show will go on air by the end of March. The story of the show will be based on the love story, in which Shabbir will be seen as the lead actor. A source close to Shabbir said- Shabbir has almost been finalised. He has not signed up yet but has confirmed in the discussion.
