Brahmastra is doing very well at the Box office. After registering a record opening of Rs 75 crores worldwide on its opening day, Brahmastra saw a massive jump in its collection on day two. Reportedly, Brahmastra earned Rs 85 crores worldwide on day two, taking its total collection so far to Rs 160 crores. Some of the reports also claimed that shows of Brahmastra is going houseful.
Famous filmmaker Hansal Mehta also watched the movie and wrote an appreciation note, “So much respect for the passion and perseverance of Ayan Mukherjee, Karan Johar and Namit Malhotra. Also, the ever-luminous Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. I really hope this film works wonders,”
He further wrote, “I really enjoyed Brahmastra. What I enjoyed even more is going to a cinema hall for a nearly 60-70 percent full morning show after failing to get tickets for last night’s shows. And long queues for the later shows at the same multiplex. The second part is going to be HUGE.”
The director of the film Ayan Mukherjee pens a thank you note, “Gratitude, excitement, hope! A big thank you to everyone, everywhere who has gone to the cinemas to experience Brahmastra, keeping our movie-going culture vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days.”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra Part One-Shiva is the first part of a sci-fi trilogy. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan has extended cameos in the film.
