Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia has clinched the gold medal by defeating Lachlan McNeela of Canada in the 65 kg category event of the Commonwealth Games. This is Bajrang's third medal in commonwealth history. He won a silver medal in 2014 and a gold medal in 2018. Now by winning the medal again, he has managed to score a hat-trick. Bajrang did not give McNeela a chance to take the lead in the final. After leading 4-0 in the first round, he took advantage of his experience to gain gold.  

Against Bajrang in the 65 kg category:-

Round 16 (Victory): Nauru's Lowe Bingham could not stand in front of Bajrang's strength. The Indian wrestler took advantage of his experience and did not take long to defeat Lowe.

Quarter-finals (victory): Let us know that the match against Jean Bandeau of Mauritius was also very easy for Bajrang. After pushing Bandau out of the mat, the wrestler did not take long to put his shoulder on the mat.  

Semi-final (victory): Not only this, England's George Ram could not stand in front of Bajrang's speed and was defeated in just 30 seconds. The Wrestler of  India did not give the English wrestler a single opportunity to dominate.

Final (victory): There are reports that Canada's Lachlan McNeela was ahead of India's wrestler Bajrang in the final. Bajrang had already taken a 4-0 lead in the round. After which the Canadian wrestler could not overcome Bajrang.  The score was 7-2 until the final.
