Institutes are doing well in India with every passing day. The Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu awarded the ARIIA rankings for 2020 virtually. Warangal-based SR Engineering College (now SR University) bagged the first rank under the category of private or self-financed institutions. Minister of HRD Ramesh Pokhriyal and Minister of State for HRD Sanjay Shamrao Dhotre were also present during the ceremony.

ARIIA ranks are awarded based on seven parameters adopted by institutions for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in their campuses such as budget & funding support; infrastructure & facilities; awareness and promotion of idea generation & innovation; promotion & supporting entrepreneurship; intellectual property generation, technology transfer & commercialization; innovative learning methods & courses; and innovation in the governance of the institution.
