Mumbai opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has got a place in the squad for the WTC final in the IPL. Yashasvi, who played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023, made a splash with his bat. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 48 runs in 14 matches of IPL. Average of 08 and 163. He scored 625 runs at a strike rate of 61.

At one time, Yashasvi Jaiswal was in the queue to win the Orange Cap, but Rajasthan could not make it to the playoffs. Ruturaj Gaikwad was roped in as the standby opener for the WTC final.
