One of the most well-known actresses in Indian cinema, Alia Bhatt is ready to mark ten years in the industry. She made her acting debut in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year before gradually rising to fame with films like 2 States, Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, Raazi, and most recently Gangubai Kathiawadi and Darlings, the latter of which was produced by her own company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. She wed Ranbir Kapoor in April of this year, and soon after, the exciting pair revealed they were expecting a child. Gal Gadot's response when Alia Bhatt told her she was pregnant while they were filming Heart Of Stone, the actress's first Hollywood job, was priceless.
In an exclusive interview with Filmfare, Alia said, “They (the film's team) were really accommodating and it makes me feel very grateful. Because again I was shooting my first action movie and there was a stunt but they all knew and they were all very safe. I had doubles and I was made to feel very comforted. And that's all that matters especially if you are doing it for the first time. It was a really fun experience.”
She continued, "In fact when I called up Gal and I told her, I said, 'I'm pregnant and I'm coming', she was like, 'Oh my God, that's gonna be amazing'. She had such a lovely reaction. Her husband Jaron was with her and he was like, 'This is a good omen, this is a good thing that means like everything's gonna go really well, its lovely for the movie'. They were so lovely so supportive" added Alia. According to what Alia has said, the cast and crew of her Hollywood blockbuster treated her quite well.
With her performances in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Darlings, Alia won over everyone. While Darlings attracted the most viewers for a Bollywood film on the OTT platform it was released, Gangubai Kathiawadi became one of Bollywood's few 2022 hits. Ayan Mukerji's eagerly anticipated film Brahmastra, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy, has been receiving positive reviews for its trailers.
On September 9, 2022, the legendary fantasy drama hits theatres. She will appear in the Hollywood blockbuster Heart Of Stone as well as Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in addition to the flicks already listed.
