Mumbai: After December 9, Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh has become popular all over the world. The reason for this is the Indian Army, which has won the praise of the whole world by removing the arrogance of China. Chinese soldiers came with the intention of capturing the Yangtse post of Tawang situated at an altitude of 17 thousand feet but were turned back. Regarding this, the CM of Arunachal has now said that this is not the India of 1962, but the era of Narendra Modi.

At a function in Mumbai, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu said that this is not 1962, this is 2022, Narendra Modiji's era. Earlier, due to Congress rule, there were only one major and 60-70 jawans in the Yangtse sector. There was no road infrastructure. The Yangtse sector is at an altitude of 16,000 feet. After BJP came to power in the state, Modiji deployed a whole battalion with 1000 soldiers under a colonel there. Road connectivity has also improved.

Let us tell you that in 2020, there was a border dispute between India and China in East Ladakh. Since then, the Indian Army and Air Force have maintained high-level operational preparedness along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal and Sikkim for the last two years. Last week also, the Indian Air Force deployed fighter aircraft in view of China's activities near LAC in Tawang. In fact, before the December 9 skirmish in Tawang, Chinese drones came near the LAC 2-3 times, after that, Sukhoi-30 aircraft of the Indian Air Force chased them away. Earlier on Monday, December 9, the Indian Army had told that on December 9, Indian and Chinese soldiers had come face to face in Tawang. In this, some soldiers from both sides have suffered injuries. Earlier in June 2020, there was a violent clash between the soldiers of India and China in Galwan.
