Ganesh Utsav is celebrated everywhere on 25th August, this festival is celebrated everywhere. This festival is celebrated every year from the day of Ganesh Chaturthi for the next 10 days.

Beautiful idols of Ganesh Ji are set on the streets of the Gali Mohalla square. Ganesh idols are also worshiped by them in any of them, worshiping Lord Ganesha for any one, three, five days or ten days, and finally, they are immersed. Why is the statue immersed after worship, let us know how.

The legend behind the immersion of Ganesh idol is that Vedvyas wanted a writer to compose Mahabharata, for which he went to Ganesh Ji and urged him to write Mahabharata Granth. Ganesh accepted his request and for 10 consecutive days, he was asked to your eyes shut and writing the Mahabharata Granth without stopping.

Ganesh Ji's body heat became very intense when writing without pausing, when Vedavis Ji saw the rapid heat of Ganesha's body, to reduce that heat, he started bathing in the pond, that day was the day of Anant Chaturdashi. Due to the idols of Ganesh Ji started immersion.

Before immersing Ganesha before worshiping him, according to his custom, all the desires are fulfilled from whatever true heart demands him. 

If you do not want to immerse Ganesh Ji in any lake or river, you can also immerse  them in your own house, but remember that the soil that comes out of Ganesha can not be given in Basil's pot because Ganesh Ji does not have tulsi Climbs
