The teaser for Robert Pattinson's The Batman was unveiled at the DC FanDome event, and while it has wowed fans, it also appears to have wowed Justice League director Zack Snyder, who took to Twitter to respond to the exciting new video and heap praise on The Batman director Matt Reeves. Because Reeves introduces a different aspect of Batman to the DCEU flicks, it appears that Snyder was pleased by the same.
Snyder Cut's director, who tagged director Matt Reeves in his tweet, applauded Pattinson's performance, writing, "This is fantastic." Reeves quickly replied to Snyder's comment, saying, "Wow, thanks so much, man... it means a lot to me." This conversation drove DC fans into a frenzy, and many of them demanded that Zack Snyder's Snyderverse be restored by the DCEU, while appreciating The Batman trailer.Â
In terms of The Batman, the new teaser provided a tantalising glimpse into the thrilling storyline starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader. Fans were eagerly anticipating Zoe Kravitz's appearance in the film as Catwoman. There was also a glimpse of Paul Dano's Riddler in the movie. Carmine Falcone is played by John Turturro, Alfred Pennyworth is played by Andy Serkis, Oswald 'Oz' Cobblepot is played by Colin Farrell, and James Gordon is played by Jeffrey Wright.
Robert Pattinson spoke about his version of Batman at the DC FanDome event 2021, ahead of the trailer's release, and stated, "He [Batman] doesn't have as much control over his attitude, and the distinction between Batman and Bruce isn't always apparent... When he puts on the cowl in different types of incarnations, he truly understands what he's doing."
