Makar Sankranti is around the corner and people have started prepartion. Til Ladoo or Til Chikki is one of the desserts which is made on this day. Today, we bring you a recipe of another dessert Puffed rice Chikki you can made this Makar Sankranti.
450 gms puffed rice,150 gms nuts, chopped, 175 ml honey, 50 gms jaggery, grated, 2 tbsp butter
Kewda to flavor, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder.
1. First of all Brown puffed rice in a moderate oven until golden, then combine it with nuts.
2. Then combine honey, jaggery and butter in a pan and bring to a boil. then cool and flavour with kewra and cardamom.
3. Now, Beat it with a wooden spoon until the mixture lightens.
4.Then add the jaggery mixture to the puffed rice mixture and set into half-inch thick rectangle. Cool it and cut into squares. Now, Garnish with pistachio nuts and silver leaf.
