A former model, Stacey Williams, has accused Donald Trump of groping her during an encounter in Trump Tower in 1993. Williams, who was a model in the 1990s, said she first met Trump in 1992 at a Christmas party, where she was introduced to him by Jeffrey Epstein, whom she believed was a close friend of Trump.
The alleged incident took place in 1993, when Epstein suggested they stop by Trump Tower during a walk. Williams claimed that shortly after arriving, Trump greeted her and began groping her, touching her breasts, waist, and buttocks. She said she was "deeply confused" by what was happening.
In response to the allegations, Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary for Trump's campaign, denied the claims, calling them "unequivocally false" and suggesting that the story was fabricated for political reasons.
Williams said that later in 1993, Trump sent her agent a postcard of Mar-a-Lago, his Palm Beach residence, with a handwritten note that read, "Stacey – Your home away from home. Love Donald."
Now 56 and originally from Pennsylvania, Williams shared the details of the alleged encounter during a call organized by a group called Survivors for Kamala, which supports Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. After the incident, she recalled feeling ashamed and disgusted, and said Epstein became increasingly angry with her as they left Trump Tower.
Williams said she struggled with feelings of shame for years, but like many survivors, she has come to terms with the incident and is now more confident about speaking out.
This is not the first time Donald Trump has faced accusations of sexual misconduct. Around two dozen women have made similar allegations, accusing Trump of unwanted advances, including kissing without consent and inappropriate behavior during beauty pageants. In 2023, a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996 and awarded her $5 million.
While Williams’ allegations have reignited questions about Trump’s relationship with Epstein, no evidence has been found linking Trump to Epstein's known criminal activities.
