Those traveling on the National Highway can get great relief soon. The government is going to bring a policy in which the passengers will have toll only as much as they use the highway. Till now, everyone has a toll to a similar rate. Road Transport and Highways Secretary Warveer Singh Malik said today that the government is working on an efficient transport management system for this.

He said that instead of a closed toll policy, we should start an open toll policy through efficient transport management system. In it, you will have toll only as much as you use the road.

In a program organized by the industry division, PHDCCI, Malik said, "We are coming soon with this policy. For a year or more we will be able to implement it. "Many countries, including the US, Australia, are working on the tolling system according to the distance traveled."

Malik said that the Roll On, Roll of (Ro-Ro) Ferry scheme has also been made for Surat which will be for Gujarat on the other side. This will save about 600 to 700 million rupees. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a roar service of Rs 615 crore last week. This service will connect Ghouha in Bhavnagar district of Saurashtra to Dahej in Bharuch district.

Addressing the same program, Railway Board chairman Ashwini Lohani said that the bullet train running between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will decide the distance of 508 kilometers in three hours. This project will be completed by 2022.
