It is worth mentioning that Tejaswin has not been included in the Indian squad for the first Commonwealth Games so far. He had reached the Delhi High Court. The IOA has to say about this that "Tejaswin Shankar's entry has been approved by the CGF and has been accepted by the Department of Sports Admission of Commonwealth Games Birmingham 2022 among the DRMs." Apart from Tejaswin, runner MV Jilna has been Approval has also been given to join the Indian team.
