Jaipur: For the first month in the history of the country, there will be neither anointing of Bholenath in the pagoda for a month, nor will the sound of the hour-shoddy nor the Kanwar Yatra come out. Om Namah Shivaya will not be heard on the streets this year. As the month of Sawan approaches, a cavalcade of Kanwar pilgrims starts appearing on the roads and Jalabhishek starts in the Shiva temples.

This time for the first time due to the global epidemic coronavirus under the instructions of the Ashok Gehlot government of the state, neither the Kanwar yatra will arise in the Sawan nor the devotees will be able to go to the temples of Lord Shiva and offer prayers. The color of Chotikashi, which is seen in the color of devotion in Sawan for a month, will fade this year. With the start of the month of Sawan, the sound of Om Namah: Shivaay, Har-Har Mahadev, Bol Bomb starts to be heard in the Shivalayas.

Long queues of devotees outside the temples are eager to anoint Bholenath. Hundreds of Shiva devotees from different corners of the country take a trip to Kanwar in devotion to Bhole. During this time, Lord Shiva's Galtaji along with other holy rivers fill the water in its Kanwar and reach the pagoda and anoint the Lord. The desire to perform Jalabhishek is in the heart of all the devotees but this year will not be possible due to Corona.
