Kolkata: The political turmoil in the country has increased considerably over the past few years, while Mamata Banerjee, who retained power with a huge majority in the West Bengal elections and became chief minister for the third time, and the ruling BJP at the Centre are still not naming the end of the tension and discord. About a month after the results were out, Mamata Banerjee said that the slogan 'Khelo Hobe' was highly appreciated by the people in the last assembly elections and hence Khela Hobe Diwas will now be celebrated in the state.

On Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee attacked the BJP saying that if the Election Commission had not helped, the BJP would not have won even 30 seats. CM Mamata Banerjee also used to question voters at each of her election rallies whether they are ready for Khela Hobe.

At the same time, she said, 'Khela Hobe. Ami goalkeeper. Dekhi ke jete meaning game is going on. I am a goalkeeper. Let's see who wins.' Mamata Banerjee announced in the Assembly that the government will celebrate Hobe Diwas played in the state. He said 50,000 footballs will also be given to different football clubs in the state. Mamata Banerjee's reporters have been in high spirits since its announcement.
