A new smartphone, Maimang 11 5G, was spotted on the Chinese TENAA database in March, which meant that the device had to be launched in the market anytime soon. In the launch event announcement poster, China Telecom only revealed that the Maimang 11 5G is also offering a large 6000mAh battery with 5G connectivity.
Maimang 11 5G: However, many of the Maimang 11 5G specs and designs have been published in the TENAA database. The Maimang 11 5G will also get a 2.2Ghz clocked MediaTek Dimension 700 chipset, which will run on Android 11 with 5G connectivity.
Maimang 11 5G Specifications: The Maimang 11 5G is going to be equipped with a 6.745-inch LCD screen, it will have a resolution of 1600×720, a 6000mAh battery, an 8MP front camera and a dual camera of 48MP + 2MP. The device measures 168.3×77.6×8.98 mm and weighs 199 grams. It works to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Maimang 11 5G is being offered in 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. The device has 3 colour options black, white and blue.
In 2013, Maimang created a stir: Maimang has initially introduced in China as a sub-brand under Huawei in collaboration with China Telecom and Tencent 2013, its first commercial device being given the Huawei Maimang A199 with 3G connectivity. The sub-brand gained popularity among the youth in China with its fashionable and youthful designs and sometimes many Maimang devices were rebranded by Huawei for being sold to a wider audience globally.
