Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis held a joint press conference in Delhi. Due to this, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the cabinet will be expanded after returning to Mumbai. He also said that the new government of Maharashtra is for the people.

Due to this, Eknath Shinde said that our government has a majority. We have 164 MLAs in our favour, while the opposition has 99 MLAs. The new government of Maharashtra will work for the people. I formed the Shiv Sena-BJP government because the people of Maharashtra wanted it. It is a government of the will of the people. This Government will get assistance from the Central Government.  

The same Eknath Shinde has also met the Solicitor General in the wake of his visit to Delhi. The Chief Minister said that due to this, he discussed Maratha's reservation. Referring to the Devendra Fadnavis government, Shinde said that when he was the chief minister, there were many projects on which work was going on, and all of them would continue. In this regard, Eknath Shinde said that he has met President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. At the same time, he said that PM Narendra Modi has a vision for Maharashtra. We will seek their blessings too. Eknath Shinde attacked Uddhav Thackeray saying Babasaheb was against underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, but Uddhav Thackeray could not take any action against Dawood, even though his two ministers had links with Dawood. Balasaheb always used to tell us that if there is anyone who is doing injustice, you should raise your voice.
