Tata's car concept was recently introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. The company is expected to introduce the car in the third or fourth quarter. It is also expected to be showcased at next year's Auto Expo. It will take on Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV100. The car will be built on Tata's Alpha Arch platform based on the Impact 2.0 Design. The Tiago will have a 1.2-liter petrol engine that meets BS-6 standards. It gets a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission. Tata says the design of hornbill will be as similar to 80 percent of the concept model.

The company is likely to introduce the hatchback car in the fourth quarter of 2019-20. This car was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. The company can provide 7-inch floating touchscreen, auto climate control, larger MID and flat bottom steering. The company is likely to deliver the NEXON's 1.2-litre petrol engine, but the power may be slightly higher than the Nexon. It is also expected to get a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which gives power to the company's Nexon. But using Altros, they will be re-launched separately. Tata will launch the electric version of its premium hatchback Altros in the first or second quarter of 2020. The 45x concept-based altroz was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. While the 45x concept was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. The Altros will be hit by Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20. The Altros Electric will be fitted with a permanent magnet AC motor and a single-speed gearbox. The battery will be charged up to 80 percent in 60 minutes and will run from 250 to 300 km in a single charge. Tata can price it around Rs 10 lakh.

There are also reports that the Harrier can be launched with a petrol engine. During Harrier's launch, Tata did not launch its 4-wheel drive version because Tata thought that the demand for a 4x4 SUV was low. On the other hand, Tata may launch the four-wheel-drive version of the Harrier once the demand for Safari is low. Tata expects the 4x4 Safari purchaser to upgrade on the Harrier. The Huawei 6-speed torque converter transmission comes with automatic variants. Omega platform based Tata Bujard is actually the concept version of the Tata Harrier 7 Seater. The 7-seater version of Harrier was recently showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. Bujard is also known as Cassini in the Indian car market. Bujar will also be built on the same Omega Arc platform on which Harrier is built. Although the wheelbase of Harrier and Cassini is equal, the length of Cassini will be much longer. Cassini or Bujard is powered by a 170bhp 2.0-liter Kryotec engine, while the Boujard is 63 mm longer than the harrier. Tata may launch Cassini at a starting price of Rs 14.5 lakh.
