The officials said that apart from the Lok Sabha Secretariat, the Government-run India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) provide cars to members of Parliament for hawking.

Also, Members of Parliament can also use private and government vehicles to come to Parliament. According to officials, around 60 per cent of Members of Parliament use ferry vehicles during the session due to the limited number of parking lots. Golf carts were purchased to visit the Parliament complex about two years ago. Electric mini bus was also purchased for MPs while Sumitra Mahajan (2009-2014) was the president, but its use was very limited and it was difficult to run on the narrow lane. While the current Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar also has his own electric car Hyundai corner, Union Minister Giriraj Singh also has electric car Mahindra E2O. They also like to drive in the same car in Lutyens zone due to the charging limitations. Bharatiya Janata Party MP Mansukh Mandaviya comes to Parliament by bicycle.
