Earlier it was reported that the super hit Marathi film Sairat will have a TV adoption. The also had a Hindi remake titled Dhadak. And now according to source, veteran actor Sai Ballal is one of the first names to have signed the project.

According to source, the show will go on floors by next month and Ballal who is known for playing the antagonist Kamal Narayan Rajvanshi in a daily soap titled Udaan. Source suggest that Ballal will play an influential man from Rajasthan, the backdrop of the show. He will be the father of the female protagonist. Several media portals speculated that actress Neha Solanki and fresh face Pranali Singh Rathod could play the lead role in the show.

Talking about Sairat,  The Nagraj Manjule-directorial was not only the biggest hit from Marathi cinema but it also became a craze nationwide. Post the success, Sairat was remade in several languages apart from Shashank Khaitan's directorial  Dhadak in Hindi. Dhadak was jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions banner with Zee Studios. The film stars Ishaan Khatter and debutant Janhvi Kapoor, with Ashutosh Rana, Ankit Bisht, Shridhar Watsar, Kshitij Kumar and Aishwarya Narkar in supporting roles.
