Patna: Describing Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's 'Samadhan Yatra' as an 'attempt to fool people', Prashant Kishor said that chairing meetings of 'favorite ministers and bureaucrats' at such functions will not solve people's problems. Interacting with media persons at Barauli in Gopalganj district, Kishor on Friday claimed that the JD(U) leader had made several yatras in the past as well, but nothing changed for the better in the state.

He said, "This Samadhan Yatra is his (Chief Minister's) 14th visit, but nothing has changed in the state. This visit is only an attempt to fool the people. Problems will not be solved." The objective of JD(U)'s 'Samadhan Yatra' is to assess the status of ongoing welfare programs and pending works in the state. Prashant Kishor criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not attending Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'.

Prashant Kishor said- "Leaders of other political parties are participating in the Congress Yatra in different parts of the country, but Kumar refused to participate. Despite the fact that Congress is a partner in the 'Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar, Kumar did not take part. It is clear from this that his talk of opposition unity is a farce." Nitish Kumar's Samadhan Yatra will continue till February 7. Its first phase will run till January 29, in which 18 districts will be covered. The journey started from West Champaran on 5th January. During the visit, Nitish will only hold internal meetings with the officers of the district and review the development works.
