If you also use Google Chrome then you need to be careful. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high level warning regarding this. Several problems have been found in the Chrome browser. CERT-In has said that Chrome users need to update their browser to the new version immediately. This warning has been given for Chrome desktop users. Google has also released a software update to fix these problems.

Google has said in an official statement that the flaw will not be explained in detail yet because most of the users have not updated their browser yet. The agency has said that versions before Google Chrome 101.0.4951.41 have been affected by this bottleneck. This has mainly affected desktop users. Recognizing these flaws, Google has listed 30 problems in its Chrome blog post. At the same time, 7 of these flaws have been described as high threat. CERT-In has said that with these high level of vulnerability, remote attackers can get access to sensitive information by executing arbitrary code.

It has also been said that hackers can bypass the security restrictions through this and overflow the buffer on the target system. CERT-In has asked all Chrome desktop users to update their browser to version 101.0.4951.41. Earlier versions can be attacked by hackers and sensitive data of users can reach them. This bottleneck is found in Windows, Mac as well as Linux. The first thing you need to do to update Chrome is to open it. After that, click on the three-dot present in the right corner. After this, open the Settings option from the drop down menu. Then click on Help and open About Google Chrome option. After this Chrome will download any pending updates. After the update is installed, Chrome will shut down and restart.
