Lucknow:Swami Prasad Maurya, who resigned from the party after five years as a minister in the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, joined the Samajwadi Party on Friday. Maurya also fired sharp arrows at the BJP as well as the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The BSP has also attacked SP leader Maurya. BSP General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra has attacked Swami Prasad Maurya while releasing a video.
Satish Chandra Mishra released a video and wrote, "Remember your old statements, what message are you giving to the society by going to the BJP which divides the society and the Samajwadi Party which protects the criminals? Those who abused the Samajwadi Party have today sat on the lap of the Socialists themselves. Satish Chandra Mishra released the video on Koo App.
In this video, Swami Prasad Maurya says, "Sisters and daughters are being subjected to malpractices, atrocities, molestation and obscene acts on a large scale in the state. It has become difficult for sisters and daughters to go to schools, colleges, offices, markets. But the Parliamentary Affairs Minister is trying to hide his sins by giving figures from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan to respond to the harassment of women that the SP government, which protects goons, mafias and criminals, has failed to stop the harassment of women today.
