'Those who attack us, we will surely defeat' Shiv Sena on the Amit Shah's statement on defeating ex-allies

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Sunday warned  Shiv Sena, hinting that Saffron party may contest alone in Maharashtra in the coming Lok Sabha polls. Shiv Sena called its arrogance of the party. 

While addressing to a gathering of party workers in Maharashtra’s Latur, Amit Sharh said that if an alliance is helmed the party will ensure win for all its allies, but in case it does not happen, the party will defeat them too. beat its former allies in the coming Lok Sabha polls.

Talking about the preparation of Lok Sabha polls, Amit Shah said, "Party workers should get rid of confusion about prospects of alliance with the Shiv Sena. If the allies join us, we will ensure their win, or else will defeat them too. Party workers should start preparations at every booth.”

CM Devendra Fadnavis has set the target to win 40 seats out of total 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra.

In response to these Shah’s statement, Shiv Sena said that arrogance of the party has now been revealed. Sena Chief  Uddhav Thackeray said,The Sena is ready to take on the opposition. Those who attack us, we will surely defeat them. Thackeray further said that BJP plan to win 40 seats is evidence that it is going to form an alliance with EVMs.
