Thousands of bats have been mysteriously found dead in a mango orchard in Madri tehsil village of Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh. When the local people reached there, hundreds of bats were still suffering on the ground. Seeing this view, the whole area was stirred up. People quickly informed the forest department officials about this. Forest Department team and Veterinary Department officials reached the spot. They have taken the dead bats in their possession and sent it to Bhopal for a sample investigation.

Even the local people had no idea of the condition of bats. In the mango orchard, they saw some black colored thing scattered on the ground. Upon reaching the spot, the bodies of bats were lying far and wide. Recently, there were reports of bats dying in some other states. Earlier, there were many reports about the role of bats in the onset of coronavirus. People are afraid that bats have not died due to some virus. People are afraid of something untoward.

The officials of the Veterinary Department are also refusing to tell anything about this at the moment. He fears that bats may die due to strong sunlight and heat. However, the real cause will be known only after the investigation report is received.
