New Delhi: Railways have come forward to help the daily wage laborers and homeless people living in Delhi during lockdown due to global epidemic corona virus. During the lockdown, people are being served lunch and dinner at 5 major railway stations of Delhi. The special thing is that while distributing food, full care is being taken for social distancing and sanitization.
When people come to get food, they are parked in a queue at a distance, for this, a special trail has also been made on the road. If no one has applied a mask on the face, then they are given a mask first. After this, the sanitizers of all the people are cleaned. Then the railway doctors conduct thermal screening of the person who came to take food, the entire record of it is kept. After that food is provided to the people.
Let us tell you that at a railway station in Delhi, there is a provision to eat 900 people at a time. Through the team of IRCTC and RPF, food is provided to the laborers at 5 major stations of Delhi, Old Delhi, New Delhi, Anand Vihar, Nizamuddin and Safdarjung. Food is available at all these stations every day from 12 to 1 pm and from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
