Jhabua: Three children were killed in a fire in a laborer's family's hut in Hanumangarh in Porbandar district of Gujarat. People from the same laboring family were from Jhabua and Alirajpur district, among the children who died, 2 siblings were from Siali in Alirajpur district. The third child was from Huttipura in the Jhabua district. The family of one of the dead children alleges that their father died last year. If the administration did not get the money in the Sambal Yojana, then the mother went to Gujarat for wages for the child.

This incident is on Friday. The family members of the children went on wages. The bodies were sent to their village after the post mortem. Last Saturday, the last rites of the children had been performed in their villages. A child's family has alleged that if the panchayat had given the benefit of the Sambal scheme, the widowed mother would not have to go for wages. This is the second major incident in Gujarat with the people of the district in a span of 4 days. In which on the night of 11 February, 6 people were killed in the same incident when a pickup filled with laborers from villages near Para got off the road in Kheralu in the Mehsana district. 7 people were seriously injured. These laborers were going to Sambarkantha in Himatnagar after constructing a water tank at Naliana Rampura in Kutch.

The sarpanch, the secretary has not even prepared the papers, due to which the family was deprived of the benefits received from the government. Laxmi's mother had gone to Gujarat to take wages with her and her 2-year-old son after Diwali due to weak economic conditions. The son was not in the hut at that time. Attempted to contact Mansingh, secretary of the village panchayat Bhorkundia of the area, but could not be reached. Joshua Peter, CEO of Ranapur Janpad Panchayat, said, "We will investigate why the scheme did not benefit after Dileep's death." If someone does this on purpose, then action will be taken on it.
