New Delhi: Congress leaders joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the results of the MCD Elections, but a few hours later, there was an interesting reversal. Delhi Congress vice-president Ali Mehdi, Congress councilor Nazia Khatoon from Brijpuri ward, and Sabila Begum from Mustafabad ward joined AAP, but within a short time, all three of them joined the Congress again, taking a U-turn.

The AAP won 134 out of 250 seats in the MCD elections. The BJP has won 104 seats. The Congress had won 9 seats. Three seats have been won by independent candidates.
