Three friends enter deep waters in Yamuna, one died

New Delhi: Three friends  allegedly drowned in the Yamuna river after they entered into deep waters while bathing in Kalindi Kunj, Delhi. A 16-year-old drowned to death, while other were rescued from the river.

According to the report, the police was informed about the incident at 2.27 pm. Following this, the fire department was also called. The locals in the area had already rescued two of the three boys by the time the authorities reached.

Chinmoy Biswal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) south-east  told Hindustan Times that the deceased was identified as Shoaib. Two of the deceased's friends, Sameer and Usman were rescued from the river. The body of the deceased was taken out by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

A man raped a minor and killed her in public toilet

As per report, the incident took place while the three friends were bathing in the river. However, the specific cause for the incident has not been identified yet. Police investigation is underway.
