A group of three members were arrested from Kolkata in case of Betting and gambling.

The three members lived together in an apartment, from where they operated the racket.

Arrested by the police for putting bets on Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore match during the Indian Premiere League 2018. Not only for this match but they have been betting from ages.

 All the three members, Shamim Akhtar, Inzamam haque and Asabul Zaman are all residents of Murshidabad.

When the police raided the rented apartment, they seized 2 laptops, 11 mobile phones and 2 diaries having information of the data of betting in matches. 

They weren’t receiving bets from India, infact  they were functioning from an international business.
The three were arrested by the police and are still under custody for gambling and betting in the Indian premiere league.

They have also been betting during the T-20 matches. The apartment on G S Bose road was only rented for this business. When asked further, they said they were favoring sun risers Hyderabad in this tournament.

Such racket take full springs during the Indian Premiere legue. The police is still looking further for other member of the group who have been functioning from outside and trying to find loopholes to get more information.
