Due to a faulty earthing near an air-cooler, 3 members of family were electrocuted at their residence in Mankapur area.
Assistant Police Sub-Inspector (ASI) Kishor Ambadas Damle (61), his wife Anjali (55) and their married daughter Vinisha Kale (33) got struck in the tragedy.
The incident occured when Vinisha switched on the air-cooler and suffered electric shock.
When she screamed, the parents rushed to rescue her but got electrocuted too.
A case of accidental death has beem registered by police.
