Mumbai: A shocking incident came forward where girl isn’t safe on home, a gang of three men entered a minor's house stripped her and molested her. The 16-year-old girl is a resident of a chawl in Jogeshwari (East), Mumbai, she was alone at the house when the incident happened.

According to a report, the teenager raised an alarm but they managed to escape before they could be caught. Reportedly, the police informed that the incident happened around 1 pm when the minor's siblings were out and her parents had gone to their native village and she was preparing for her SSC exams.

The source report further mentioned that a case has been registered against the unidentified trio and the police have launched a search operation to nab the accused. The incident happened on Wednesday when one of the accused knocked her door for asking an address when the girl said she did not know the address, they asked for water. When the girl went to fetch water from the kitchen, she saw two more men had entered the house and were watching television.

Meanwhile, the trio stripped her and molested her. Somehow the girl managed to pull a tube light and began hitting them. The trio escaped the spot. The family members lodged an official complaint and an FIR was registered at the local police station. The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act.
