Kolkata: Yesterday, a special squad of Kolkata police rescued three minor girls from a private hotel in Kasba police station area, where the girls were held hostage to sell in the market.
According to a Kolkata police officer, the girls were rescued in a raid, which was conducted at the hotel on Rajdanga Main Road that is the place used as a transit for trafficking.
“Five persons including the owner and manager of the hotel besides two pimps and a customer were detained from the site”, the officer added.
