A pregnant lady from Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari district reportedly hanged herself to death from the ceiling fan in the bedroom at her parents’ home when they were out of the station after start recording a selfie video from his mobile phone.The woman, who was four-months pregnant was married in August. In the video, she had said that she is not interested in her husband.Her husband name Narendra Babu is working as Software engineer at Bengaluru and after their marriage, Monika also went to Bengaluru, On learning that their daughter was three months pregnant, the parents went to Bengaluru and brought her back to Tadepalligudem on November 21. Later her husband Narendra also came to his mother-in-law’s house getting news of his wife and stayed there and took her to doctors in Tadepalligudem for tests. After that, he returned to Bengaluru.

The woman is apparently heard saying, "Sorry mom and dad, I cannot continue my relationship with my husband. Please take all money and other gifts and presents that you have given at the time of marriage as dowry and settle the matter with him."The dead woman was expected to meet her parents ahead of the Sankranti festival.The suicide case has been registered under section 174 CRPC and a probe on the matter has been initiated, confirmed Mrs Murthy, Inspector, Tadepalligudem Town.
