Amethi: On Lucknow-Varanasi Highway, a truck hit a jeep in which three people died and six other members of the family got seriously injured. All the three died on the spot.
All the nine persons from Patela were going to Kanpur for attending the marriage. After the accident, all injured persons were immediately taken to the hospital in Jagdishpur.
However, the truck driver escaped from the spot and police has registered a case.
