New Delhi: in the January-March quarter of the year 2019, residential housing sales registered a three per cent increase on a quarterly-quarterly basis, registering a total of 33,000 homes in seven major cities in the country. This was reported in the report by real estate services and investment company CBRE.

This kind of transparency
As per the information received from the sources, the number of new launches in the period under review was also 33,000 households, which is 14% higher on a quarterly basis. Said, "While policy reforms like real estate-regulation and Development Act 2016 and goods and services tax have brought much-needed transparency to residential real estate. But the current boom in the region can be attributed to the proactive and customer-centric initiative by real estate developers.
The situation in big cities
With this, the report further says, "in the year 2018, the new launch and sales in residential real estate registered an increase of 11 per cent and 19 per cent respectively. "It has been reported that the real estate market of Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR was the fastest, with around 70-75 per cent stake in the new launch and sale. Other cities included in the survey were Hyderabad, Pune and Kolkata.
