Ranchi: Three minor tribal children in Dumka district of Jharkhand died after being hit by a train. This accident happened near Barmasiya railway station of Shikaripada police station area. The deceased children have been identified as Albina Murmu, Ajay Hembram and Simon Marandi. The age of all is said to be 16 years. The three children were residents of nearby Shahajori and Durgapur villages.

As soon as the information was received, the police of Shikaripara police station reached the spot and took the bodies in possession and sent them for post-mortem. The incident came to light when a goods train was passing through the same railway track and its driver saw the bodies of children lying there. It is being told that the bodies of two of the three children were mutilated, out of which the head of one child was lying apart from the body. Whereas, the third girl died due to internal injuries.
 
The police station in-charge of Shikaripada police station, Arvind Kumar has informed about the incident that probably all three died from the Dumka-Howrah train. The police has also questioned a minor girl present with these three children. She told that she was with them. But at 9 o'clock she had gone to her house. Then he also got information in the morning that all three of his friends had died after being hit by a train. Right now the police is probing the matter from every angle.
