Patna: Three youths were killed in a tragic road accident in Bihar's capital Patna on Friday. Two others were seriously injured and have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment. According to reports, a speeding oil tanker hit the Alto car on the road from Khagol Lakh to AIIMS. Three youths in the car were killed on the spot while two other youths in the car were seriously injured in the accident.

All the injured were admitted to a private hospital near Patna AIIMS where they are being treated with the help of locals and police after the incident. On the other hand, when the family members of the deceased and the injured came to know about the incident, there was an uproar. Among the dead was FCI Road resident Md. Sueb Akhtar (20), Rohit Kumar (18), a resident of Chhedi Tola near AIIMS and Pratik alias Prince (20). While Beur resident Ayansh and Birla colony resident Devendra Sharma's son Harsh were injured. The crashed Alto car was sueb's.

Locals blocked the road after the accident and expressed their displeasure against the administration. On receiving the news, MLA Gopal Ravidas rushed to the hospital and regretted the incident. The MLAs then reached the road jam site and persuaded people to end the jam.
